  • The Project Manager ensures the project is completed on time, within budget and on schedule. The Project Manager reports to the COO and is responsible for all onsite project management and administration.

    The Project Manager is an integral team member supporting GRA, Design Team, Field Team, and the Owner.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Strong aptitude to manage and coordinate information flow across project contributors/stakeholders using Autodesk Construction Cloud toolsets.

    Responsible for creating, capturing, archiving, coordinating, and collaborating on the development and dissemination of project artifacts and documentation during all lifecycle phases of the project.

    Developing the initial overall program schedule.

    Organizing weekly Project Status Review Meetings to drive progress, schedule, and budget conformance, reporting to the team and leadership.

    Organizing monthly executive project status meetings.

    Overseeing construction administration of project contractors and sub-contractors.

    Engineering and technical expertise; working closely with Engineering and Operations team.

    Tracking and reporting on budget performance of the project weekly.

    Complying with all relevant local building codes and relevant disability access requirements.

    Working with project contractors to develop project task plans and Critical Systems Task Plans (CSTP) per client guidelines.

    Managing the review and approval of the CSTPs in a timely manner.

    Ensuring all assigned project contractors follow contractor guidelines.

    Ensuring all project activities are conducted in a manner that is safe and do not risk interruption of normal site business.

    Collaborating with the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Department to ensure regulatory compliance on the project and processes, including review and approval of the CSTPs.

    Ensuring contractors leave construction sites clean, safe, and secured at the end of each workday.

    ​​Collaborating with client Facility Operations and Maintenance Department(s) to facilitate construction contractors’ activities required for project turnover and training.

    Utilizing LEAN scheduling and Last Planner System (LPS) tools to develop and maintain the program schedule and timelines.

    Coordinating with all contractors and consultants to participate in LEAN, LPS and in the collaborative schedule development and enhancement.

    Requirements

    Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.

    Strong communication skills.

    Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

  • Assist the Project Manager to ensure the project is completed on-schedule and on-budget. The Project Engineer will be the liaison between the Project Manager, Design Team, Field Team, and the Owner – responsible for detailed documentation to control the project. Documentation will include project plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and other project related documents. The Project Engineer will also ensure a seamless transition of materials to the project team from conception through completion. He/she will be responsible for tracking and negotiating change orders and overseeing all project data in the manner requested utilizing the tools defined at the on-set of the project(s).

    Roles & Responsibilities

    Maintains control of all project documentation.

    Coordinates and maintains special inspection documentation for the project.

    Creates, manages and tracks RFI’s from the field to the Architect/Engineer of record.

    Maintains and distributes project plans.

    Maintains/updates project records.

    Assists the project team with site safety documentation and coordination.

    Assists the project team with documenting job progress, and schedule.

    Assists the Project Manager/Superintendent in creating and distributing the project schedule.

    Understands project plans and specifications.

    Studies the job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.

    Assists the project team with conflict resolution between Owner, contractor and subcontractor.

    Is in charge for turning in submittals from subcontractors to A/E for approval for all scopes of work based on the plans and specifications.

    Assists the Project Manager/Owner in getting building permits for the project.

    Creates site specific EH&S book/program as it applies to state and federal requirements for the project.

    Understands appropriate building codes/regulations and how they apply.

    Coordinates project change order management, creation, negotiation between Project Manager and Owner.

    Creates and distributes project closeout material, and O&M manuals to owner once project is complete.

    Assists the project team with closeout of the project.

    Assists the Project Accountant with monthly subcontractor billings and pay applications.

    Assists the Project Manager with assigned tasks.

    Requirements

    A four-year degree in mechanical, electrical, civil, or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management. Equivalent trade school experience will be considered.

    Minimum of 4-6 years’ experience on large commercial construction projects.

    Valid driver’s license.

    Strong communication skills.

    Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel based templates, Prolog, Primavera and AutoDesk Suite.

    Preferred: past internships in the construction industry.
